Thoughts on Vision

On Your Mark — I’ve found that almost everyone goes into a new job or ministry with some vision of what they’d like to see accomplished. The dream or vision propels them forward to reach new heights. Vision is necessary to move forward in any endeavor.

Get Set — What was your initial vision when you started your current role? Did you accomplish it? Was it lost over the years? Did you get discouraged and quit pursuing it? If the original vision was accomplished, what new vision are you seeking now?

Go — If you go to a baseball game, sit in the stands, and hope a ball will be hit to you, you might wait a long time before it happens. If you want to get a ball, you’ve got to get into the ball game. If you want to see your vision fulfilled, you’ve got to start working toward it again. What do you need to do this week to get started?
