Walk LiKe a Pigeon

Have you ever wondered why a pigeon walks so funny? A pigeon walks the way it does so it can see where it’s going. Since a pigeon can not adjust its focus while moving, it actually has to stop in order to see. This is the way it walks: head forward, stop; head back, stop. As church leaders we sometimes have the same problem as a pigeon-we have a hard time seeing while we are moving. We need to stop to see ourselves in relation to God, and his will in or lives and the world. When was the last time you stopped long enough to hear from God? Why not take some extended time to listen to God through his written word and prayer?
